Knoxville Young Republicans Reorganize and Fundraise

Knoxville, TN—Newly elected Knoxville YR Chairman Stephanie Hundley and a group of motivated, young professionals have successfully reorganized the Knoxville chapter of the Young Republicans and have some big plans.
“It is time that the young, conservative professionals of this city have a venue to mix, mingle, and become a more influential part of this community,” says Hundley.
“The Knoxville chapter of the Young Republicans had lost its charter and stopped meeting regularly. It’s hard to imagine the largest Republican county in the state without a Young Republicans organization--that was unacceptable and we did something about it.” continues Hundley.
Since their reorganization in December, the Knoxville Young Republican Federation has re-chartered, scheduled regular meetings, started a web site, and launched an ambitious fundraising campaign sponsored by Knox County Mayor Mike Ragsdale and other Republican elected officials
“We are prepared to take the bull by the horns and raise the money necessary to grow our club into the largest and most influential group of young professionals in the state, and we are fortunate that local Republican officeholders like Mayor Ragsdale has stepped up to help,” says Hundley.
“This group represents not only the future of our local party, but also the future of party at the state and federal levels,” said Brian Hornback, candidate for Knox County Republican Party Chairman.
